about
David Castellani is an Italian-born composer, producer & performer with a concentration in avant-garde sound creation & manipulation.
"Dark, theatrical story-telling through suspenseful and eerie soundscapes is an addiction. Being able to directly tap into a listener's raw emotional core is my absolute focus, searching for unearthly feels in within the composition. I try to create deep emotional voyages through the use of analog synthesis, unconventional sound sources, and unique mixing techniques. I study minimalism and believe that a message is more powerful when it's naked and at its core. I search for the confines of music, only to overstep those boundaries."

ELEKTRON ANALOG KEYS
The Analog Keys cries out to be played. It is a mighty analog synthesizer capable of incredibly expressive sounds. It is built for the studio and the stage. Its vibrant, deep analog tones put it in a class of its own. The rich feature set gives you complete creative control. Your sound is in here: find it, shape it and play it.

ARTURIA MATRIXBRUTE
MatrixBrute is arguably the most powerful analog monophonic synthesizer ever! As flexible as a modular system but offering presets, MatrixBrute is a dream machine for everyone interested in creating a sound palette of their own. MatrixBrute is an outstanding analog synthesizer.
WALDORF PULSE 2

The Waldorf Pulse 2 springs from royal lineage. Back in the '90s Waldorf's Pulse synth module transformed the world of electronic music. Now back, with even more brute strength, the Pulse 2 is a pure analog synthesizer that delivers what hardcore synth enthusiasts truly crave: gloriously fat, agressive, punchy analog sound - perfect for crafting gargantuan basses, celestial pads, and face-melting leads. It holds 500 fully-editable sound programs, allowing you to create an incredible array of tones and textures that's limited only by your imagination.
WALDORF BLOFELD

The Blofeld is descended from the and Microwave II wavetable synthesizers (all of which were themselves descendants of the classic PPG Wave). The Blofeld features 68 wavetables, including tables from the Microwave II, Microwave XT, Q, Micro Q and PPG Wave. However, unlike its predecessors, the Blofeld can load two different wavetables into oscillators one and two, creating more complex and evolving sounds. Throw in the fact that user created wavetables can be loaded (via third party software) and the Blofeld clearly stands out as one of the most advanced wavetable synths of them all.

MFB TANZBAR
MFB's Tanzbär drum-computer offers fourteen analog percussion instruments as well as a synthesizer for bass- and melodic voices. Its integrated step-sequencer allows flashlight-programming and storage of up to 144 patterns. All parameters can be recorded per step! Because of its ability to control and call up all functions on the fly, while the unit is running, Tanzbär is ideally suited for live performances.

SIMMONS SDS 8
This rare Simmons SDS 8 Analog drum machine is composed of a 5 channel, earth shaking analog synthesizer. Made in the early 1980's, this rare piece can create some of the deepest and fullest sub frequencies that you will ever hear. With harmonics waving off the scale, you will be shocked at the response this machine
can bring to your music.

CYCLONE TT - 303
It's a monophonic analog bass synthesizer married to a
pattern-based step sequencer released in 1982. It features a single analog oscillator with two waveforms (ramp or square) and has a simple but excellent VCF (filter) with resonance, cut-off, and envelope controls. There are also knobs to adjust tuning, envelope decay, tempo and accent amount.

MOOG THERAMINI
The Theremini Is a re-imagination of one of the oldest electronic musical instruments in history, and Bob Moog's first love – the Theremin. Its design fuses the experience of performing with an instrument you don't actually touch, with a powerful sound engine derived from Moog's award winning synthesizer, Animoog.
